So named as this is the only Mount Gay rum finished in charred bourbon oak barrels after blending. Black Barrel is made from sugar cane molasses column and pot still rums and has a higher proportion of pot still than other Mount Gay rums. Released April 2013.

Όψη:

Clear, golden amber.

Μύτη:

Black pepper and clove spice with slightly burnt sultana, passion fruit and roasted almond.

Στόμα:

Clove, cinnamon and black pepper spice dominate a toasty, lightly vanilla palate.

Επίγευση:

Long spicy finish with lingering cinnamon.
