Named after its distillers, Sion Edwards and Tom Warner, and the location of the family farm where it’s distilled, Harrington Gin is based on neutral barley spirit redistilled with 11 botanicals.
The key botanicals are juniper, coriander and cardamom with the elderflower used grown on the distillers own farm. The gin is hand-bottled, wax sealed and hand-labelled on the farm.
Sampled on 29/11/2014
Crystal clear.
Clean, pungent overripe banana and piney juniper with liquorice, black pepper and coriander.
Overripe banana, pine and coriander with cardamom, cracked black pepper and liquorice.
More overripe banana/ banana chews, pine, cardamon and black pepper spice with liquorice and hops. Overall: One of those gins where juniper has a strong overripe banana influence.
