Nick-named ‘the Greek-Column’, in reference to the bottle shape, Tsantali ouzo continues to be traditionally made in copper pot stills to a recipe first created by Giorgakis Tsantalis in 1890.
In 1945 Evangelos Tsantalis opened a commercial distillery and quickly rose to be one of the major suppliers of ouzo to the Greek market.

Crystal clear. Louches with addition of water to turn milky grey-white.
Clean liquorice nose with spicy, minty, floral aromas.
Hint of sweetness to the palate with minty, grassy flavours struggling for attention over the balanced liquorice and aniseed.
Long lasting, slightly sweet liquorice finish.
