Appearance:

(sample batch 158, 28/May/15) Clear, deep brown/black with thin but retentive beige head and moderate lacing.

Aroma:

Piney hops with heavily roasted coal dust, liquorice and burnt toast malty notes.

Taste:

Burnt roasted malts with liquorice and espresso coffee.

Aftertaste:

Dry finish with coal dust, burnt toast and espresso.
