Originally called ‘The First Edition, this whisky was Mackmyra's first core range bottling. A large proportion of this whisky is aged in 100-litre casks with some first-fill casks made from Swedish oak from ancient tree felled on the island of Visingsö.

Όψη:

Clear, pale golden amber.

Μύτη:

Pencil shavings and sandalwood, candied ginger, orchard fruit, lemon cake, light honey, honeysuckle blossom, vanilla and light black pepper.

Στόμα:

Light-bodied with a slight honey sweetness balancing pencil shaving-like freshly sawn oak tannins. Red apple and pear fruit with red and black pepper spice. Faint note of creamy milk chocolate.

Επίγευση:

Long lingering with black pepper spiced apple and pears.

Light-bodied with orchard fruit, pencil shaving-like oak tannins balanced by light honey sweetness with red and black pepper spice. Water reveals herbal notes.
