Aged a minimum of 7 years in 420 litre Pedonculate oak casks (60% new oak), Château de Lacquy 7 Years (also called VSOP in some markets) is a blend of 30% Baco, 10% Ugni-Blanc, 30% Colombard and 30% Folle-Blanche.

Appearance:

Clear, golden amber.

Aroma:

Green grapes, pear skin, marzipan and raw pastry with nutmeg and black pepper spice.

Taste:

Fruity and spicy. Earthy pear, green grape, pastry, nutmeg, ginger and mild black pepper spice.

Aftertaste:

Black pepper spiced oak, blackened fruitcake and cinnamon.

Overall:

Fruity and spicy with attractive pear skin and raw pastry notes.
