Named after HMS Royal Oak, one of a vanguard of ships to engage the French during the Battle of the Saints. Captained by Thomas Burnett the Royal Oak brought her 74 guns to bear on the enemy for the duration of the battle to emerge victorious with 8 men lost and 20 wounded.

Part of The Battle Of The Saints range of Admiral Rodney Saint Lucian rums, HMS Royal Oak contains St Lucia Distillery's original blend of Coffey still rums aged between 7 to 12 years in American white oak bourbon casks.

Admiral G. Rodney was a brilliant naval strategist who broke the French line at the Battle of the Saints thus ensuring British domination of the Caribbean. The eponymously named series of rums celebrates this famous naval battle. All were distilled at St. Lucia Distillers using a 45 plate Coffey still commissioned in 1984 and the distillates extracted from the bottom plates of this still. They were then aged for prolonged periods in the tropical heat of the distillery's own aging warehouses.

Clear, deep golden.

Maple syrup, prunes and toasty oak with coffee, ripe banana, apricot, struck match and vanilla.

Dry, faintly smoky oak is balanced by caramel, treacle and brown sugar notes with light cinnamon spice.
