Billed as being the world's first extra dry mastiha, this 40% spirit is distilled (in a similar process to gin) with the resin crystals of the Mastic tree which only grows on the Greek island of Chios.

Appearance:

Crystal clear.

Aroma:

Distinctive mastiha nose with notes of cedar wood and grass.

Taste:

Clean, mastiha flavour.

Overall:

Well made and attractively packaged but there's a reason why other brands add sugar to mastiha spirit to produce mastiha liqueurs. Similarly, this 'spirit' would have been better made into a liqueur.
