Billed as being "the world's first red berry aperitif", Cordusio is flavoured with red berries and an infusion of botanicals. This Italian aperitivo takes its name from Piazza Cordusio in central Milan.
This aperitivo liqueur takes its name from Cordusio, a piazza in the centre of Milan which used to be home to a market where goods were traded, including herbs and botanicals.
Cordusio is "100% natural" with no artificial colours, no artificial flavours and is gluten-free and suitable for vegans.

Clear, crimson red.
Gentain, quinine and thyme with strawberry/raspberry fruit and citrus zest.
Bittersweet and with a thinner mouthfeel than other aperitivo liqueurs. (In terms of bitterness, Cordusio sits somewhere between Aperol and Select.) Headline red berry notes are distinguishable but vie for attention with bitter and herbal components.
Sweet on the lips but with long lingering herbal bitterness on the palate.
Cordusio's rocket-like bottle stands out, but this Italian red bittersweet aperitif is yet another in an already crowded market, and I'm not sure the liquid will prove compelling for many.
