Palma Louca is a Brazilian-style pilsner brewed by Heineken Brazil at their Cervejaris Kaiser brewery. South of the equator it is better as Kaiser's premium lager, named after what is the second largest brewery in Brazil.
Sampled on 27/06/2013
Clear, pale golden yellow with thin white head and moderate lacing.
Flower dusted starchy raw corn-on-the-cob.
Light bodied and slightly metallic with corn-on-the-cob and faint maltyness. Equally sparing use of hops leaving this pilsner very slightly sweet.
Lightly grilled corn-on-the-cob but like the palate the finish is piny. A bland beer.
