Vines were first planted at Nyetimber in 1988 but the estate has benefitted from considerable investment since being acquired by Dutch businessman, Eric Heerema in 2006. The estate, which many consider challenges many champagnes in the quality of its sparkling wines, now has 400 acres under vine.

Nyetimber’s grapes are hand-picked with each section of each vineyard processed in separate batches. They are then pressed and stored in separate stainless steel tanks allowing winemaker, Cherie Springs, maximum control and blending potential.
