La Fée Absinthe Blanche

Difford's Guide

alc./vol: 53%

Proof: 106°

Vintage: Non-vintage

Aged: Unaged

A clear style of absinthe mimicking the classic absinthes commonly distilled pre-ban in both France and Switzerland where such absinthes were named 'La Bleue'. La Fée Blanche (clear) is distilled with grand wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) and 10 other botanicals at Cherry Rocher Distillery near Lyon

The 11 botanicals which flavour La Fée Absinthe Blanche are individually distilled (as opposed to a single distillation of all the ingredients together), these distillates are then blended by the master distiller.

La Fée Absinthe Blanche should be served diluted with 2 parts water to 1 part absinthe and does not require the addition of sugar.

Launched May 2012.
