La Maison Fontain Verte is flavoured with herbs including the world-renowned Pontarlier-grown Grande Absinthe. Its natural colour is derived from the chlorophyll within the plants infued in the absinthe to add flavour after distillation. Launched January 2012.

Appearance:
Clear, pale green-yellow. With water louches cloudy pale green.
Aroma:
Clean and fresh green anise, fennel and white pepper with liquorice and camomile. More liquorice emerges with water.
Taste:
(with enough water to louche) Green anise and fennel with herbal complexity and faint liquorice sweetness.
Aftertaste:
Long, pronounced anise which fades to white pepper.
