Pisco Portón is a mosto verde pisco distilled from a blend of 3 grape varietals (Quebranta, Torontel and Albilla) in traditional copper pot stills and is rested 5 to 8 months before bottling. Pisco Portón is distilled to strength with no water added to meet bottling strength.

Pisco Portón was founded in 2009 by Brent Kallop and his father William, with Johnny Schuler, Puru's most celebrated authority on Pisco who now acts as the brand's ambassador and master distiller.

Pisco Portón is made at Peru's Hacienda La Caravedo Distillery, which dates back to 1684. Since 2009, the trio has invested more than US$40 million in Portón and in 2010 the company added a second distillery with a capacity of 110,000 cases.
