Named after and endorsed by Celtic punk band, The Pogues, and made by West Cork Distillers, this is blend of Irish malt whiskey. Despite the similarity of the name, this Irish whiskey is completely unrelated to Kentucky’s Old Pogue Bourbon.

Appearance:

Clear, deep golden amber.

Aroma:

Buttery toasty oak, baked apple and peppery spice.

Taste:

Woody, new oak with accompanying sweet vanilla, bitter tannins and light apple fruit.

Aftertaste:

Toasty oak, vanilla and spice.

Overall:

Young whiskey with buttery toasty oak, vanilla, bitter tannins and apple fruit.
