Sambuca is best enjoyed the traditional Italian way: served chilled in a shot glass with three floating coffee beans signifying health, wealth and happiness floating in the surface of the drink. (The roasted coffee beans are chewed so their powerful bitter taste enhances the sweet sambuca liquor).
