Paradiso's King's Day cocktails
Paradiso in Barcelona, is not only the #1 cocktail bar in the world as selected by the 50 Best Bars back in October 2022, but also a pioneer of sustainability. Ketel One Vodka and Paradiso both share the vision that cocktails shouldn't just taste good but also do good.
Hence, Ketel One and Paradiso have partnered up for this year's King's Day celebration in the Netherlands to create two Ketel One cocktails that do good in the community. On top of ingredients that put a spotlight on the local community or help to minimise waste, Ketel One will plant an orange tree in Spain through Treedom for every Paradiso cocktail served over King's Day! An ode to the ingredients and the King if you will!
Paradiso has been a proud partner of Treedom, an online platform that has been supporting communities of small farmers for years by planting trees all over the world with as goal of making the planet breathe.
Sea Heart
Paradiso is celebrating the local farmers and flavours from Spain with this citrusy, intense, marine aperitivo cocktail. By just looking around at what grows on your doorstep, you can create beautiful things. The dill and tomatoes are both grown in Spain, the manzanilla sherry is sourced in the south of Spain and the seaweed comes fresh from the Mediterranean Sea.
To hero the tomato as this cocktail's key ingredient, Ketel One have also included a donation to Duijvestijn with every cocktail to grow a tomato plant in the Netherlands. Duijvestijn supports a new generation of tomato growers locally that are all focused on a more sustainable future.
Ingredients:
- Ketel One Vodka
- Cordial of dill & black cardamom
- Manzanilla sherry with olive seeds & pine nuts
- Chinotto liqueur
- Tomato water
- Seaweed soda Garnished with oyster lead, olive paste and kumquat gel.
Kings Punch
Paradiso's Kings Punch is in celebration of the King: orange. This cocktail is fresh tasting, citrusy and floral and heroing the orange as the key ingredient. The juice is made using all parts of the kumquat from the Paradiso bar to ensure there is no waste.
Of course, Ketel One will also plant an orange tree through Treedom for every Ketel One Kings Punch served on King's Day.

- Fresh lemon juice
- Ginger beer Garnished with orange peel and maraschino cherry.
