Ketel One Citroen was launched in 2000 and is created by infusing Ketel One vodka with citrus essential oils essence. Two different types of lemon from Sicily are used to impart a rich sweetness, whilst a variety from Spain gives a full distinctive taste.
Lemon from Guinea, West Africa results in a more intense character, whilst two varieties of lime from the Caribbean give Ketel One Citroen a fresh note.

Appearance:
Crystal clear.
Aroma:
Clean, zingy fresh lemon oils and freshly squeezed lemon juice with lemongrass and white pepper.
Taste:
Clean, lemony - both zest and fresh juice with a touch of lime zest. Very faint honeyed sweetness.
Aftertaste:
Cleansing lemon zest, lemon sherbet and lime zest. Fades lime zest, faint aniseed and lemon meringue pie filling.
Overall:
Fabulously clean, zesty and cleansing. Use with 50% unflavoured Ketel One vodka to freshen my Cosmopolitan recipe.
