Did this as a cocktail of the day, very surprised by how much we liked it (whiskey is not our usual base). Did drop the sugar syrup by half as we tend to like our cocktails on the less sweet side.

Absolutely delicious although I will omit or at least diminish sugar syrup next time. Islay whisky and cherry liqueur combine so well. A great comforting cocktail, tasty and unusual as commented by a discerning anonymous drinker ?

Very nice. The peated whisky was just enough to be present but not stealing the show. Whisky and cherry pudding ?

One of the most interesting cocktails I've tried. There's definitely a time and a place for this one, and I'll be back there soon!
