Indeed, the cocktail is more turquoise than blue. The image is more than 20 years old and pre-dates digital photography and I've made a note to reshoot. I've reduced the lemon juice from 22.5ml (3/4oz) to 10ml (1/3oz) as I thought the original measure was too sour and made the cream curdle. Still not a great cocktail but I've upped my rating from 2.5 to 3 stars.
Does indeed look like cement. I tried with equal parts as above and with less lemon juice but have to admit that, either way, I'm not a huge fan of this cocktail hence my 3.5 rating.

While this drink's appearance is that of wet Portland cement, it is tasty and complex; boozy enough to keep me paced to sipping rather than chugging. Best use of Blue Curacao (which I find overly sweetens many drinks) I've discovered. While I mixed this by the letter, I backed off just a bit on the amount of lemon juice, good pay-off and I recommend being scant there.
