Tried something different since I love Mezcal. Didn’t work…..Mezcal over powered . Of course, one doesn’t waste a drink and who knows, it may grow on me by the last drop!

Mezcal's such a variable. One of my favorites for mixing is Apaluz, sp. durangensis from Durango. Mildly smokey, subs well for blanco tequila where you don't want a dumpster tire fire (in a good way) in your drink.
