Hmm, interesting. It's not quite for me, though. I don't know if I'd like it more if it was just tequila or just mezcal. Or if my brain is rebelling because it wants lime instead of lemon.

Outstanding when followed to the T

Before reading the caption, which explains that this was named after an 1863 battle, I was wondering why this cocktail was named "shrimp" since the taste didn't really make me think of the crustacean/shellfish, aside from the saline solution which seemed to overpower the cocktail for me personally?!

Delicious as is but, in search of a bit of added complexity, we added just a gentle splash of triple sec. Worked nicely for us.

A pleasantly uncomplicated sour with almond complementing earthy agave flavors amidst mild salt rounded smoke. Wonderfully absent barrel notes. Likin' the clear.♡
