Big heavy flavours and prob only one for the negroni aficionados - I used Four Pillars Spiced Negroni gin and at 50ml it’s almost too much. Added 12ml vodka to allow the other ingredients some space. Overall great negroni and will be retrying with other gins. “Winter cocktail” seems like an apt description at this point, with daylight saving just about to end (having just gone midnight here).
I'm not loving this, but I'm not hating it either. The Punt gives it a lovely richness, but these proportions allow the gin to feel a little too strong. (Fergroni)
