I love Kahlua, and I've just been caught out by the 20% to 16% drop in alcohol content (without any drop in price). Very disappointing.
I have to admit that, though I like to believe I could, I probably wouln't be able to tell the difference in a blind taste test. I do think there is a small difference in taste but unfortunately I'd finished my previous bottle before I bought the latest one. If there is a difference it is very small.
Agreed. It has been well-balanced at the lower alc./vol. but is a lesser product, especially when compared to other coffee liqueurs. I've updated our review accordingly.
