Am I in the minority thinking this has a touch too much maraschino? I used Tanqueray, Cocchi di Torino, and St George Bruto Americano. Maybe the vermouth (and/or the Bruto) is over-accentuating the maraschino? What do you think?... Good drink nonetheless. Just arguably a bit too fruity on the front end. It's real close though to my house recipe for a Martinez, minus the orange bitters. Hmm...

I really enjoyed the herbal and citrus flavors that mingled within this cocktail. The splash of Campari was a good touch to balance everything out with just a touch of bitterness. I did take Andy Parnell-Hopkinson's advice of upping the Maraschino by 5ml as my brand, Lazzaroni, is milder than Luxardo. It didn't overwhelm at all!

Clapham does it again. A fairly bitter, bracing Negroni variant made even more so by Tempus Fugit Alessio Rosso and a dash of Bittermen's Burlesque Bitters for extra vrooom.

Bellissimo. Might try upping the maraschino a little next time, but really good.

Increased maraschino to 15ml and it became legendary.
