A simple riff on the French Martini, swapping the usual vodka for the more French cognac. Fruity and easy drinking

Generally, I really like Cognac and avoid Vodka cocktails - but in this case I far prefer the French Martini to the French Cocktail. Used Ferrand 1840.

did 45/45/25 for a sweeter drink, a non-offending smooth beverage with citrus and black rasp. notes.

Went to make this and found out the pineapple juice was gone. Pomegranate juice made a nice substitute.

I was originally introduced to the French Martini as a vodka based drink, but using cognac as the base spirit is a notable level up binding the cocktail's flavors together.
