Jeffrey Morgenthaler‘s amaretto sour has 1oz of lemon juice and 3/4oz of bourbon. This recipe is flipped.

His original recipe (which, I think you missed under History above), also calls for a cask-strength bourbon, while I have used more of a standard strength bourbon.

Ah ok, that makes sense. I just wanted to make sure that wasn’t a typo
