Tequila-laced and sherry-influenced with complex herbal, alpine bittersweetness

A great after dinner cocktail, but maybe not in a heat wave. I used orange bitters instead of grapefruit ones. The amaros and tequila play nicely, and the oloroso adds body and a bit of saltiness.

Really delicious. The bright and sharp amari stand toe to toe with the reposado and the sherry contributes depth and complexity.

I would like to make this but can't get Braulio. Any substitution suggestions?

We would be tempted to try Nardini or Ramazzotti. Not Montenegro...too sweet and light against the Braulio.

I think Averna or Montenegro, while a bit sweeter, may make good substitutions for Braulio.
