I would like to make this but can't get Braulio. Any substitution suggestions?

I finally splurged on a bottle of Braulio, and to me it tastes like if Jägermeister and Sfumato Rabarbo made a baby under a pine tree

We would be tempted to try Nardini or Ramazzotti. Not Montenegro...too sweet and light against the Braulio.

I think Averna or Montenegro, while a bit sweeter, may make good substitutions for Braulio.
