I most always have a bottle of "regular" Cointreau on hand for margaritas, but it's never been something I'd drink on its own (there are other orange liqueurs that are better suited). Cointreau Noir took me by surprise - I could sip on this all day. It has a deep rich flavor, and while sweet, it isn't cloying. I haven't mixed anything with it yet, mostly because I could just build a drink with Remy and Cointreau instead of squandering the Noir.
