Wonderful cocktail. We make our own honey syrup from local wildflower honey which resulted in just a slight hint of honey flavour. The hint of apples and the citrus from the grapefruit makes for a a very well-rounded cocktail.
This one wasn’t quite to my liking, the taste of honey (“tasting much sweeter than wine”) dominated the experience. I used Monet’s honey syrup. Next time perhaps, less honey syrup and more regular sugar syrup. Tough one to place in the choice between “Tried and liked” and “Tried and didn’t like”. I sort of “like” most drinks, more or less. Anyway, I gave it a 3.
