My wife and I tried this one last night, and we both felt the taste of violet too strongly. My wife actually threw half the drink in the sink.

Revisiting this recipe last night, three or four years after the first try, confirmed my insight of late that I really don't like the taste of honey in cocktails. There it is. I sweeten my Earl Grey with pure honey every morning, though.
Bourbon whiskey, Aromatized wine, Pamplemousse liqueur, Lemon juice, (+ 2 more)
Orange-red aperitivo, Pisco, Lemon juice, Lime juice, (+ 2 more)
Vodka, Triple sec, Citrus vodka, Cranberry juice, (+ 2 more)
Light white rum, Orange-red aperitivo, Orgeat syrup, Lemon juice, (+ 3 more)
I think this cocktail should be named Lady, since it is more or less a White Lady without the (egg) White. While writing this I'm finishing off my first Daleoni Negroni. Great stuff, highly recommended!
Having experimented for a while with different variations on the classic Martini theme (my most successful attempts being what I call Plymouth Apple Martini, 80 ml Plymouth Gin, 20 ml regular Martini Extra Dry and 20 ml Joseph Cartron Liqueur de Pomme Verte), I have also tried adding Apricot Brandy, with the same proportions as the green apple one above (I like my drinks to last). I found this Martini a bit to intimate with the apricot taste, so prefer my own recipe. I used Hendrick's Gin, De Kuyper Apricote Brandy and Martini Extra Dry. A more subtle infusion of the apricot tang.
Easy drinking has got a name! Loved it though, and the wife too, and will add it as a candidate for this year's cocktail party, coming up in two week's time – actually on Valentine's Day. Will add the Orange Bitters next time, as suggested by Mr Hodge.
Quite good, recommended, in fact. Had to exchange the Handshake for Nonino, and chose simple syrup instead of sugar syrup (2:1) and that turned out well for my palate.
Pleasant enough but a bit dull. We threw in 7.5ml triple sec.
Wish I'd seen your comment before I made this drink tonight. I did double the amount of sugar syrup, but next time I'll add triple sec. Thanks!
Having a faiblesse for the Pamplemousse liqueur (Cartron, par préférence), I quite liked this one, however with sugar syrup rather than simple, making it a tad sweeter. Recommended.
Having all ingredients except apple juice/apple cider, I took Cartron Pommes Verte liqueure instead. Worked well, great drink. I'll try it with apple juice/cider another time. Still a straight 4.
Had this one quite some time ago, but it fell off my memory. It came up today when I utilized the Cocktail Finder tool, looking for drinks with Bourbon and Mandarin Liqueur. Very summery appetizer, well done!
But do you deliver to Sweden?
Great stuff, 4.5! My cabinet only offered Vedrenne’s Liqueur de Mangue, but that worked well. Chinola Mango Liqueur is not available in this country (Sweden).
I guess it should be "SHAKE first 4 ingredients with ice," and not "SHAKE first 3 ingredients with ice."
Regrettably, I found it, quite frankly, undrinkable.
Top notch, 5+. Extended the cane sugar syrup to 15 ml.
Then again, the egg white adds a lot more than foam; the silkiness that it renders the drink is I think at least as attractive an effect of the egg white as the foam. (I’m writing this while sipping The Parasol cocktail.) Just the same I will try go get hold of the fee foamer, in spite of also having had a bad experience with an American brand foamer a few years ago.
This version of the Cosmos is served at least one a month in our household, and probably 3-4 times during the summer months.
Super jigger.
Very mellow.
