Cognac shines over freshening lemon and orange zestiness. Hopefully, you'll find this recipe perfectly balanced, but those with a sweet tooth may prefer...
Made this with Ferrand 1840 and Dry Curaçao, same ratio/ recipe. I was surprised by the balance and restraint. It’s light and dry, refreshing for cognac, while letting a hint of heat shine through. I found I was getting some nice almond notes from somewhere. Easy to drink, will use this recipe again. Probably too subtle when deep into a session or following juicier cocktails.
