Taste is not bad. But I also had trouble floating the cream (even after aerating).

I see M&S do a fancy mince pie liqueur over Christmas (just bought a bottle!) and was searching the site to see if it’s used anywhere. I came across this. Might be interesting to use it instead of the mincemeat and presumably wouldn’t need any sugar syrup?

Agree something's not right here. Not sweet enough and the cream sinks to the bottom.

It's not in the original recipe which we only scored 3.5/5. I will buy some mincemeat and try.
