Really surprised by this one. The mint is tempered and balanced by the funk and Falernum whereas the absinthe gives some cool licorice notes on the end. On paper it seems like it would be ridiculous but it 100% works.

Our advice is to omit the creme de menthe and, when offering it to a guest, simply say "Here, have a swizzle darling".

I didn't quite fancy a licorice assault, so I used 10ml of bohemian absinth and a dash of regular absinthe. It looks like a sweet and weak gimmick (it *is* quite green) but it packs a real punch. Surprisingly very good.

I don't understand how this works but it does. I used Galliano in place of the absinthe, just to proof it down.

Had for Earth Day as the cocktail of the day. I really like the blend of rums and Pernod.
