Have you tried Boomsma Cloosterbitter? It's maybe half as complex and a much lower abv but provides some similar flavors in a cocktail. I frequently extend my green Chartreuse by splitting them.

Hmm, no I have not tried it. There is a local liquor store near me that stocks some off-beat spirits and such. If they don't have it in stock they can usually score a case of this and that. I'll seek that out. Thanks for the recommendation!
