I only had Strega. Found it a touch dissonant and unbalanced at first, but it settled in nicely. I like the idea of a Dolin-Strega blend there. I'm tempted to try this again subbing a little of the Strega with a dose of Green Chartreuse, but my bottle of the latter I've been nursing. Might do it anyway.
Have you tried Boomsma Cloosterbitter? It's maybe half as complex and a much lower abv but provides some similar flavors in a cocktail. I frequently extend my green Chartreuse by splitting them.
