A bar spoon of agave syrup helps this one feel a bit fuller in the middle, but a very good drink overall.

Or test Tequila Reposado instead of blanco, slightly sweet edge and vanilla notes do it for me.

Tried this as per your suggestion. Definitely cut down on the sweetness and added a little complexity. Great suggesstion!
