Do different types of alcohol affect how we behave after one too many drinks? Does mixing beer with wine and spirits send us on a downward spiral of intoxication?...
People often say that tequila sends them over the edge.
No, my friend, it’s not tequila that sends you over the edge. It’s the type of night that leads you towards tequila shots that sends you over the edge.
Nice write up. Though, there was no mention to sugar - I've always thought (or been told) to avoid sugary drinks, meaning added sugars like cola, to prevent a hangover.
A quick Google search produced this:
"The body is efficient at dealing with glucose, unless you have a medical condition like diabetes, so sugar itself does not play a role in hangovers. However, sugary alcoholic drinks don't provide hydration so you may end up more dehydrated, which can worsen hangover symptoms."
