Very good. I used Old Raj Blue to kick up the abv to make up for the lack of vermouth, and Santoni Bitter, which is sweet at first, with the bitterness coming through on the finish. Good combo with the orange.

Fortunately I live in an area where blood oranges are easy to get as all types of citrus is grown locally. This was outstanding. The blood orange juice adds a hint of sweetness and citrus which softens the flavour of the finished cocktail.

As it’s rare to find blood oranges available here, this also works with Solerno liqueur.

Excellent negroni variation, not far off the original. Much depends on the blood oranges used. Might be good as a long drink with soda water?

A nice riff of the Negroni. Maybe just a tad sweeter than a regular Negroni (probably depends on the Blood oranges) but not by much. I enjoyed it.
