- 45 ml Australian Distilling Co. Gin
- 15 ml Granny Smith infused vermouth bianco
- 30 ml Thai basil sugar syrup
- 30 ml Fresh lemon juice
- 10 ml Olive oil
- 1 Egg white
The creator says: "My cocktail mixing style has always been about simplicity and quality ingredients, which reflect my Cypriot heritage. I have a passion for simple pleasures- cooking and sharing food, so I wanted to encapsulate a component of that into this cocktail, I added a staple of mine olive oil. Resulting in a drink with a delicate, nostalgic flavour of the Mediterranean, perfect for dinner parties with friends or sitting oceanside.
Once I had chosen on using olive oil with this gin I thought about how to combine the other flavours and use elements of Australia being multicultural and on my first try it was exactly what I wanted in this drink."
