Tastes like Crodino

Made this using Olmeca Altos Silver Tequila and rich demerara syrup. The sweetness of the Carpano Antica nicely rounds out the bitterness of the fernet, and vice versa. The agave notes from the tequila ties it all together (use a flavourful tequila for this). Very nice and complex stirred sweet vermouth cocktail.

Made this using homemade allspice dram. The allspice dram nicely complements the whiskey without taking over and the lime juice balances the drink nicely. Not too sweet, but still nicely balanced. A nice fresh cocktail with a hint of christmasy spice.
