I failed to get that bright red hue showed in the photo, maybe it's because of my choice of grenadine. Nice cocktail nonetheless.

To my taste the 15ml of 3/1 honey syrup was a bit too much, too sweet… perhaps the honey I used was too fragrant. Otherwise, absolutely amazing! I used Diplomático Reserva Exclusiva and the character of the rum really came through
Maybe the problem is with the rum, considering that the Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva is quite sweet.
The correct pronunciation would be more like "MAH-reh".
