New favourite! I think I am just obsessed with Montenegro but the combination of sweet orange, monte and aperol makes a pretty perfect aperitivo. The aperol doesn't dominate like it can, allowing the endless flavours of the monte dance around in your mouth. brilliant!

I've been through 4 bottles of montenegro since I discovered this cocktail just before christmas.
It's a crowd pleaser and a great cocktail for friends who are driving but want something special.
Every friday at sunset, it's monte mule time!
I use lemon instead of lime and if I want it more boozy, I use 2 shots montenegro.
