You could use lime juice but I prefer it with lemon juice and a lime zest twist expressed over the cocktail.
When I substitute Tequila for vodka or gin in a classic cocktail I usually do a 50/50 split of lemon and lime...works for me!
Am I mistaken in thinking the recipe would rather lime than lemon?

Used Tapatio 110 proof (55% ABV) Blanco Tequila and Jade Esprit Edouard Verte (72% ABV) which is an amazing Absinthe but the Tequila still shone through - tried it twice - lemon and Lime - and for me the Lime was the winner.
The Corpse is a great drink but this is the better but maybe not as many on a night!

I've been making a version of this that I serve on December 1st, which is the first day of The Day Of The Dead (which is what I call the cocktail). I prefer a silver tequila in this myself.
