Negroni on steroids - as per recipe but swapped the Green Chartreuse for the (slightly) lower % 9th Centenary Chartreuse liqueur.
Will have to try with Green but yes this is so good

Sorry but a definite hard no.
Used a Bacardi 10yr and what a waste - I see it has a lot of support but 1 disappointing 2.5 from me.
Tried and first thought was nice but just too much - it was served in a well iced glass so I gave a quick 2nd stir and so good.
Needs to be cold and stirred down a little longer.
Must try this with the 9th Centenary version I'm thinking with the Green Chartreuse
I have had this before and upped the lime as it was a touch sweet. Retried using Ferrand Tropical Dry Curacao (thankyou for the tip Paloma :)
This is so much better as the Rum and spices are to the fore and the sweetness is perfect without any modification.
Adding the Ferrand version as Oh My Gosh!
Light white rum, Lime juice, Sugar syrup (2:1), Chilled water, Tropical curaçao liqueur
Cointreau is smoooooth and loaded with orange. But you can almost taste the sugar crystals forming on your tongue. It is still the standard and for good reason. The Tropical Dry on the other hand still packs that orange punch but there is something else there that just makes it more intriguing. It is also a whole level of less sweet and has a bite and kick from being Rum based rather than Brandy - Need both rather than a substitute.
Used an Indian 7yr old oak casked rum and Beesou honey liqueur.
Quite a taste rush but a big hit of Toblerone chocolate in a glass
Reposado tequila, Falernum liqueur, Xocolatl mole bitters, Manzanilla sherry, Angostura di Amaro
Picked up a couple of bottles of Old Monk 7yr Blended rum in Shimla India (oak casked and a definite vanilla taste) for a mere £4.50 a bottle coming in at 42.8% and a nice bite to them!
What better drink to make with them than a West of India. A bit sweet so may switch the cream for a dry sherry and make it an even 3/4 for the first 4 ingredients but very tasty and definitely on the return list.
I was very lucky to have one of these made for me by Simon. I have made the simple Grasshopper at home, which is a bit one dimensional; this is a big step up in depth and nicely balanced. Looking forward to trying one out myself.
I recently had one of these made by Simon too (on the 28th ) - intend to make one for myself tonight.
It was outstanding.
Used a rather good Distillery Jameson's (need to buy some more!) and Giffords Creme de Menthe. A bit sweet might try again with a cut back on the sugar syrup but the soda water does help dial it back and gives it a bit of fizz.
Happy Saint Paddies
I do love Bergamot Liqueur and find it an interesting swap for Cointreau when you want the Orange but with more herby and bitter notes.
This is exactly what this drink provides. Provided that mouth cleansing bite for a first drink.
I am in no position to dispute your assertion, having never tried Kryo, but I find the claim that it is superior to all American rye whiskeys both bold and intriguing. What makes it so great, if I may ask?
a taste test with my son and myself - but tastes are personal.
I went with the recipe if not the ingredients:
Kyro Finnish Rye
Antica Formula Carpano
Jade 1901 Absinthe
Peychards
A good stir and perfect,
I do love a good Mai Tai so this intrigued me.
Used a Kryo Finnish Rye Whisky (this is an excellent and personally superior alternative to American Rye's).
I was surprised how long it took for the rye to kick in - a really balanced and smooth drink.
A really good whisky alternative to a Mai Tai.
I could have sworn I had a bottle of Drambuie but evidently not.
So A bottle of Grand Marnier and a teaspoon of honey had to substitute.
Definitely going to have to add a bottle of Drambuie and retry this .
One of those drinks that grows on you - probably as a result of being diluted.
Need to try with the gentian down and the Midori upped.
However my wife loved it - so give it a try.
Very yellow and just too sweet.
Great taste but couldn't get best the sweet.
Dont have the punsch but do have Bivrost Aquavit which i rather like so this was a belter! really good
good but when would you ever need this over a margarita??
My thoughts exactly
okay tried this after a Difford's Gimlet and a Vodka Gimlet (I do like a theme) and yes it is tasty and love the mild smokiness (Siete Misterios Mezcal) but i think it maybe pushing the Gimlet a bit far.
to be honest the Vodka Gimlet + Daiquiri bitters takes the award so far but still have the Viking Gimlet to go and I really do like Aquavit
Tried this after a Gin Gimlet (Difford's) but used Koskenkorva Finnish 60% Vodka so dialled down to 2 shots - also added the Difford's Daiquiri Bitters.
This is so good and a much cleaner taste. The vodka is really good though and kept at freezer temp its beautiful on its own.
Exceptional.
Made strictly to ingredients though did give it a strong shake which helped water down the cordial.
a beautiful drink with quite a mouth clearing effect. I knew I had kept that dram bottle of jenever for a reason.
Having a Gimlet evening and this is the first of 4 varieties - obviously starting with the Difford Classic
Made with Glenmorangie and Oat Milk(Vegan son) and really smooth.
