Used Chase Marmalade vodka, didn’t have enough for 2 so added in Ferrand Curacao to regular vodka. Also used some Angostura Orange and Bob’s Chocolate bitters. Really liked it.
Made with Rittenhouse Rye rather than Bourbon (I prefer a ‘barely legal’ rye to bourbon for Manhattans and a Sazerac) with Averno Amaro and Carpano Antico vermouth. I added 5ml sugar syrup and 10ml Pierre Ferrand orange cucacao and really enjoyed the result.
Hi, how long does this keep once opened please? Could you freeze it too?
Lovely cocktail - varied the recipe by reducing Grand Marnier by 10ml and replacing with Diffords Falernum and preferred it.
