15ml favorite heavily peated scotch,
30ml fine quality blended scotch,
15ml amaretto.
burnt orange peel, express oil and garnish.

I can say that a few drops of lime juice really clean up an unorganized sweet palate.

Made with just London dry gin and bitters, no garnish. Considering its history, I think building it in an ice-filled old fashioned glass will works.

If you want mint julep but want no ice, here it is. I suggest to add 2 dash of angostura just like Difford's mint julep and reduce sugar because there's no more dilution.
