Well, this really split our audience of 3: Two firmly in favour, one firmly against. The objection was that it was 'too floral' - a consequence of the orgeat I suppose, and that the nutmeg was just weird. On the other hand, the other 2 of us disagreed with those objections and thought it was delicious and well balanced.
I had Chardonnay and Lillet Blanc in, so after reading others' comments I was in a bit of a quandary about which to go for. Glad I went for the original Chardonnay in the end, as it sits the cocktail in a nicely ambiguous place between sweet and dry that gives it an air of sophistication. Lillet Blanc would have made it unambiguously sweet.

Had to substitute the green Chartreuse with Italicus, and it works a treat.
Using Select in place of Campari nicely toned down the bitterness in this wonderfully complex cocktail.
