Just tried this with 25ml for liquor ingredients and 15ml of lime juice. Didn’t have cherries so I dropped in a plum from the bottom of a bottle of Choya after a couple of sips. An interesting mix of smooth and acidic both before and after.
Not a fan. Tastes like it doesn’t know what it wants to be.

Agree it’s better on the rocks. Will try with some lemon, stay tuned!
I found this looking for a recipe that included licor 43. This drink came up in the list but 43 was not included in the ingredient list. Used it instead of elderflower liqueur. Had to make another sub too so can’t comment accurately. Turned out harsh on sipping but good finish.
